Essex County, NJ -- On Sunday, October 18, community members are invited to join Barnabas Health Heart Center at Newark Beth Israel Medical Center (NBIMC) in Verona Park for its 13th annual Heart & Sole Walk to benefit heart failure and transplant patients. Registration begins at 10 a.m. and the walk steps off at 11 a.m. Pictured here (first row center) at the 2014 Walk is Mark J. In addition to a 4k walk along the trail at scenic Verona Park, activities will include entertainment, food and prizes. Individuals, families and teams are encouraged to join in the event.
