Ocean County, NJ -- At a recent general membership meeting, DART Coalition of Ocean County, a Barnabas Health Institute for Prevention grant-funded community coalition, honored Terry Farley, DART Coalition member, with the Coaction's Community Partner of the Year Award for his years of service to DART and dedication to reducing substance abuse.
The award—now named the Terrence P. Farley Community Partner of the Year Award—is given to one individual who shows outstanding dedication and commitment to DART's mission.

"Terrance Farley's legacy as an icon in the fight against the scourge of illegal narcotics is one of tremendous dedication and service to the community," said Mr. Coronato. "His impact has been felt far beyond the borders of Ocean County."
Former First Assistant Prosecutor in Ocean County, Mr. Farley is Chair of the Prescription Misuse Workgroup. Among his many accomplishments, he is a renowned speaker on issues relating to substance abuse prevention, a member of the County's Local Advisory Committee on Alcoholism and Drug Abuse, and a Student Assistance Counselor and consultant to the Ocean County Prosecutor on substance abuse-related issues.
