Today, Alicia is back to doing the things she loves.
Alicia Johnson is a track and field athlete who loves to compete. After an abnormality was found during a routine mammogram, she was referred to a breast surgeon who recommended genetic testing. The testing was positive for the BRCA gene. Given her medical history, she was scheduled for a bi-lateral mastectomy and reconstruction.
Alicia did not require additional therapy as her cancer was detected at an early stage.
Today, Alicia is back to doing the things she loves, spending time with her family and friends and running with her team.
