The Network offers specialized treatment for adolescents who pose behavioral
problems in school or home. Treatment teams include board-certified child
and adolescent psychiatrists and substance abuse specialists, clinical
social workers, registered nurses, clinical nurse specialists and certified
educators, as necessary.
This intensive therapeutic structure is appropriate for adolescents with
significant behavioral, psychiatric or dual diagnosis problems. The goal
of treatment is medical and psychiatric stabilization to facilitate movement
into less restrictive levels of care.
The Network offers after-school programs for those who can continue regular
school activities but who require intensive supports to address substance
abuse and behavioral issues. Programs are offered daily and transportation
is available within certain areas.
Specialized outpatient services for youth are offered at locations throughout
New Jersey. Services include:
- Psychiatric Assessment
- Individual, Family and Group Counseling
- Psychological Testing
- Vocational Testing
- Psychotropic Medication Treatment
Diagnostic testing for psychiatric and/or organic/cognitive disorders such
as attention deficit disorder, learning disabilities and other cognitive
impairments is also conducted by psychologists.
