Strengthening Families

Strengthening Families is an educational program utilizing the award- winning Strengthening Families curriculum that has been recognized by the World Health Organization as a model parenting program. Families will learn how to improve communication skills, develop effective conflict resolution techniques and learn to identify and express feelings. Each week features a complimentary, catered family dinner, incentives and gifts for participants.

Strengthening Families Program Facilitators

Program Schedule:
6:00-6:30 p.m. Dinner will be served
6:30-7:30 p.m. Families break into separate groups: Child ages (6-11) (12-14) or (15-17) & Parent Group
7:30-8:00 p.m. Families unite to practice the skills learned

Free on-site childcare is provided to children under 10 years old. Gifts and prizes will be awarded to families with regular attendance. Upon completion of the program, a graduation ceremony will be held where all participants will receive a certificate.
