Quick Response to Eye-Opening Heart Attack
The last thing Tom Zakar, loving father and grandfather, wanted to face
on Father's Day were problems with his heart but when he felt chest
pains, he knew it was serious. Before Tom’s wife, Gladys, could
enter the building the staff at Community Medical Center was already taking
care of him. Gladys, Director of the Volunteer Office at the hospital,
saw the expertise and professionalism of the medical staff first-hand
and knowing that Tom was in good hands helped to put them both at ease.
The experience was eye-opening for Tom and now he is grateful for the
time he gets to cherish with his family.
