Fundraising Ideas

  • Host an Event
Events can hosted to benefit Barnabas Health Hospice. Your imagination is the limit!
  • Matching Gifts
Many companies have programs through which they will "match" the charitable contributions made by their employees. Often these matches are dollar for dollar, or more. Through corporate gift matching, your employer or your spouse/partner's employer can multiply your gift to Barnabas Health Hospice, making it go further. Please inquire with your Human Resources Department.
  • Dedicate a Special Day
Meaningful days in your life can be made even more memorable by dedicating them to making a difference in the life of someone with a serious illness. On your birthday, consider asking friends and relatives to make a donation to Barnabas Health Hospice in lieu of a personal gift; or rather than investing money on a favor for your wedding or bridal or baby shower, think about making a donation to us in honor of your event.
  • Social Media
    "Like" us at www.facebook.com/BHHospiceAndHomeCare

Help us share the message about our programs and services and spread the word about upcoming special events by "liking" our Facebook page.

Think about utilizing a crowd-funding web site to set up a fundraising page on behalf of Barnabas Health Hospice or specifically one of our specialty programs, such as Paws for Patients, Music & Memory or the Memory Bear Program.
  • Donate Your Time - Volunteer
Barnabas Health Hospice offers many opportunities for individuals to get involved by donating their time. Volunteers are needed in many areas including providing support and companionship to patients and families; offering administrative support in our offices, donating a special skill, such as sewing, writing or photography to a dedicated project; and making bereavement phone calls. • Visit our Thrift Shop
Stop by the Barnabas Health Hospice Thrift Shop, located at 51 North Fullerton Street in Montclair, and shop a variety of women's designer and non-designer clothing, shoes and accessories; home décor, linens and tableware; artwork; and small furniture items.
