Our Bedminster Facility Welcomes New MRI

Barnabas Health Outpatient Centers provide a comprehensive approach to health care. Our facility brings to Somerset County the renowned experience and expertise of The Barnabas Health Breast Center in Livingston, which performs more mammograms than any other facility in New Jersey.

Our professionals at Bedminster and our other women’s services departments are eager to help patients proactively maintain their health and provide the highest quality services.

We ensure that all diagnostic studies at The Center are performed by highly trained, licensed and certified female radiologic technologists, and are reviewed by board-certified radiologists who specialize in mammography. Dexa Scans, vascular studies, fluoroscopic studies and x-rays are also read by board-certified physicians who are specialists in their fields.

We are also one of the few facilities in the area with a certified female radiologic technologist on staff who is trained and certified in bone densitometry by the International Society of Clinical Densitometry (ISCD). Nurse educators are accessible to provide valuable information to patients regarding breast self-exams, test results, women’s health issues, and access to additional resources.

• MR Angiography (MRA) and Cardiac Imaging
• MRCP (Magnetic Resonance Cholangiopancreatography) that replaces the traditional endoscope for the detection of biliary disease
• Diffusion/Perfusion scanning which can detect stroke within minutes of onset.

• X-Ray, including Intravenous Pyelogram (IVP)
• Fluoroscopy (Hysterosalpingograms, Upper GI Series, Small Bowel Series, Barium Enema, Esophogram)

EDUCATION AND SUPPORT

A full range of patient education on breast self-exams, breast
cancer risks, vascular health and bone health is available
through counseling and community education programs.
