Upon joining, each member receives an by an exercise physiologist. During this evaluation, the patient's medical history is discussed as well as their goals, limitations, and doctor recommendations. Baseline measurements of blood pressure, heart rate, blood oxygen consumption, weight, BMI and % body fat are also recorded. An individual exercise program is designed and implemented in. During these orientation sessions the member is shown how to set up the equipment, the proper form of exercises in their program, as well as duration, repetition and frequency of exercise. The staff also offers in which changes to their programs can be made to help achieve other fitness goals they may have. All of our members are by our staff, providing a safe workout environment for all. Blood pressure, blood oxygen consumption, and heart rate monitoring are provided before and after exercise at their doctor's discretion.
The Health and Wellness staff may also work with physical and occupational therapists, nurses and participant's physicians to develop individualized, comprehensive wellness plans. Together the team continuously monitors participants' wellness progress in a supervised environment.
