The Hearing Center has relocated to the 2nd floor of the
Ambulatory Care Center in Suite 221.
Each day, 33 infants are born in the United States with significant
hearing loss, making it the most frequently occurring birth defect.
Ninety-Five percent of all hearing disorders can be improved with
medication, surgery, rehabilitation or the new advances in hearing
aid technology. The sense of hearing has profound impact on
a child’s ability to learn and mature normally. Even a
slight hearing loss may affect a child’s development. Early
identification and intervention are crucial.

Our new, therapeutic playground was developed especially for families who have children with disabilities. Used in therapy sessions children have the opportunity to learn how to ultimately use the playground in their own communities.
