The Institute for Pain Management is offering a free community program, “Managing Your Lower Back Pain,” on Tuesday, January 24 at 7 p.m. at the Bernardsville Library located at 1 Anderson Hill Road in Bernardsville, NJ.
Speaker John Z. Shumko, MD, PhD, Chairman, Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, Saint Barnabas Medical Center; and Medical Director, Sports and Physical Medicine Institute and the Comprehensive Rehabilitation Center, Barnabas Health Ambulatory Care Center, will guide you through an interdisciplinary approach to back pain relief. The Institute offers four different options to treat your back pain and they include pain rehabilitation, pharmacological management, interventional pain procedures and integrative medicine modalities.
