Barnabas Health Ambulatory Care Center To Offer
FREE Prostate Cancer Screening And Men’s Health Event

Livingston, NJ, November 3, 2011— The Barnabas Health Ambulatory Care Center will host a free Prostate Cancer Screening and Men’s Health Event on Saturday, November 19 with 8:30 a.m. and 10 a.m. Sessions at the Ambulatory Care Center, located at 200 South Orange Avenue in Livingston.

This program is being held in conjunction with the national “Know Your Stats About Prostate Cancer” campaign — a partnership between the American Urological Association Foundation and the National Football League to promote prostate cancer screening guidelines to men nationwide.

In addition to the free prostate screening, including a PSA blood test, participants will be able to partake in a physician panel discussion on men’s health, a men’s wellness fair with educational, interactive displays and can also have a hands-on experience with the da Vinci Robot. 

Men age 40 to 75 who have not had a PSA or urology work-up within the last year are eligible to participate in this free screening and are encouraged to undergo an annual physician check-up that includes prostate cancer testing.
