Women’s Health/Parent Education at Saint Barnabas sponsors this free workshop to help you achieve the confidence and skills you need for a satisfying nursing experience. Newborns in car seats or strollers are welcome. The program is free and advanced registration is required by calling 973.322.5360.
Diabetes Support Group: Handling the Holidays

Holidays are usually a very happy joyous time for most of us; however, when you have diabetes, holidays may add some added stressors that can certainly affect your sugars. In this support group, we will strategize how to best manage the holidays. Please feel free to bring some of your favorite diabetic friendly recipes. Osteoporosis Support Group: Safe Yoga and Pilates for Bone Health Webinar

At this program, a National Osteoporosis Foundation webinar will be shown and will discuss how yoga and pilates can offer many benefits to your health and well-being. However, people with osteoporosis should be aware of important safety considerations and modifications when doing these forms of exercise. During this educational webinar, Pilates expert Sherri Betz, PT, GCS, CEEAA, PMA(R) Certified Pilates Teacher, and Yoga expert Matthew J. Taylor, PT, PhD, RYT, will discuss how individuals at increased risk of breaking a bone can safely participate in Pilates and Yoga Classes. To register, please call 973-322-7830.
