Snelgrove Appointed Advanced Practice Nurse for Clara Maass Department of Surgery
“We are pleased to have Connie fill this new role at Clara Maass,” said Mary Ellen Clyne, MSN, RN, CNAA, Chief Operating Officer and Vice President of Patient Care Services, Clara Maass Medical Center. “She is well versed in this area of clinical care and is a great asset to our team in ensuring that best practices are implemented and evaluated for surgical patients throughout their hospital stay.” Snelgrove, who received her Master of Science in surgical nursing at Rutgers University College of Nursing in Newark, N.J., is an active member of many nursing organizations including The American Nurse’s Association (ANA), The NJ State Nurse’s Association, The ANA’s Council of Nurses in Advanced Practice, The National Association of Orthopedic Nurses (NAON), and Sigma Theta Tau, The National Honor Society of Nurses, Alpha Tau Chapter. “I am very excited to take on this new role at Clara Maass,” said Snelgrove. “In collaboration with the nursing and medical department as well as other members of the interdisciplinary team we can further enhance the quality of care provided to patients from the time of admission thru discharge.” [ back to news menu ] [ top ] |

Belleville, New Jersey—Clara Maass Medical Center recently welcomed back Constance A. Snelgrove, APRN, B.C., as the medical center’s first Advanced Practice Nurse for the Department of Surgery. Snelgrove, who launched her nursing career at Clara Maass Medical Center, most recently hails from Columbus Hospital in Newark, where she served as the surgical advanced practice nurse as well as the team leader for the Surgical Care Improvement Project (SCIP).
