Belleville, NJ—H1N1 influenza has now
been confirmed in all 50 states. As a leader in prevention and
preparedness, Clara Maass Medical Center (CMMC), an affiliate of
the Saint Barnabas Health Care System (SBHCS), remains committed
to the safety and welfare of our community. To help protect you
and your loved ones, CMMC will hold an H1N1 Influenza Community
Forum at the Medical Center on October 19,
2009 at 6 p.m. in Greifinger
Lecture Hall. The Forum will be led by Fred M. Jacobs, M.D., J.D.,
Saint Barnabas System Executive Vice President and former New Jersey
Commissioner of Health, along with State Department of Health and
Senior Services experts and our infectious disease and emergency
medicine specialists. These experts will share the facts and address
your concerns.
The Saint Barnabas Health Care System is presenting H1N1 Influenza
Community Forums at three other SBHCS acute care hospitals during
the next three weeks. The Forums will also be led by Fred M. Jacobs,
M.D., J.D. The dates and times are as follows: Community Medical
Center, Toms River, October 17 at 10 a.m.; Kimball Medical Center,
Lakewood, October 13 at 6 p.m.; and Saint Barnabas Medical Center,
Livingston, on October 22 at 7 p.m. Forums have already been
held at Newark Beth Israel Medical Center and Monmouth Medical
Center. The public is welcome to attend any forum.
