THE FIFTH SUCCESSFUL YEAR FOR “A TASTEFUL EXPERIENCE”

Belleville, NJ — November 9, 2009 at the Pleasantdale Chateau in West Orange.

This “evening of sensational food and wine” hosted more than 400 guests and more than 40 of the area’s finest restaurants, caterers and purveyors of spirits, who donated their time, talent and wares to raise funds for the hospital’s programs and services.

“This event is truly a crowd pleaser,” said Jane Newman Kessler, CFRE, Clara Maass Medical Center Foundation vice president. “The money raised will help us start new programs, further our technological advancements and provide more community health screenings and education.”

At the event, attendees sampled cuisines ranging from Ethiopian and Mexican to Italian and Latin, as well as a wide array of desserts. Some of the New Jersey eateries at the event included Nanina’s in the Park, Fitzgerald’s 1928, Mesob, Gencarelli’s Bakery, Senorita’s Mexican Grill, Mavi Lounge, Food Company Catering and Special Events, Off the Hook Seafood, Amanti Vino, Table 8, Church Street Kitchen, CulinAriane, Fascino, Farm 2 Bistro, Bohemia Latin Cuisine, Joe Bartoni’s Italian Market, Osteria Giotto, Raymond’s, 32 Church Creative Cooking, Above Restaurant & Bar, Petite Café Stuffed Cupcakes, Miss Nicky’s Gourmet Toffee, Halcyon Seafood Brasserie and Restaurant Passione.

A few special guests including baseball great, Yogi Berra, Eyewitness News co-anchor, Ken Rosato and Senator Raymond Lesniak.
