 Diagnostic Services at Clara Maass consist of the Progressive Imaging Center, a free-standing facility, the Nuclear Medicine Department and Clara Maass Radiology. The Progressive Imaging Center is a complete outpatient diagnostic facility offering the most sophisticated imaging technology available. The procedures include MRI, CT Scan, PET/CT Scan, bone densitometry, stereotactic breast biopsy, Voxel Q Workstation, diagnostic X-ray, fluoroscopy, mammography and ultrasound. Complimentary transportation is provided to patients as needed with advance notice.
The primary goal of Radiology and Nuclear Medicine is to provide diagnostic, therapeutic and consultative service to doctors and patients by the application of radiant energy and other imaging modalities. Nuclear Medicine is a product show-site for Siemens Medical Systems. This distinction brings the most advanced diagnostic imaging services available to patients at Clara Maass, and enables physicians and technologists to conduct imaging studies with pinpoint accuracy and reduced testing time. The Radiology Department is open seven days-a-week, twenty-four hours a day with emergency off-hour call time available in all specialties. Nuclear Medicine is open five days-a-week with emergency call time on weekends and holidays.
