 Volunteers extend the services and care that Clara Maass is able to offer patients, staff and the public. Volunteer opportunities are available in patient-related services, clerical areas and fundraising. Most volunteers contribute at least 3 to 4 hours-a- week and range in age from 15 to 84.
The Auxiliary is a self-governing volunteer membership organization whose members work together to assist Clara Maass in promoting the health and welfare of the community. The Clara Maass Auxiliary meets once a month from September to June. The programs include a short business meeting, an educational presentation and refreshments. In addition to the monthly meetings, auxilians sponsor about eight fundraisers a year. Past fundraisers have included raffles, jewelry sales, plant sales, baby photos and a fashion show.
