TAKING CARE OF YOUR FEET THE FOCUS OF COMMUNITY MEDICAL CENTER PROGRAM

TOMS RIVER, NJ, August 19, 2009 – Community Medical Center will hold a program to spread knowledge about why it is important to “Take Good Care of Your Feet” on Thursday, September 17, at 10 a.m. The program will be held at the hospital's Community Health Education & Outreach Department at 591 Lakehurst Road in Toms River.

Having feet that hurt can be extremely aggravating and make walking and moving really hard. Come out and learn from speaker and Community Medical Center podiatrist Vincent DelleGrotti, D.P.M, of the Jersey Shore Foot and Leg Center, about what can be done for corns, calluses, bunions, hammer toes, ingrown toenails, fungal nails and other irritating foot problems.

COMMUNITY MEDICAL CENTER PROGRAM TO OPEN YOUR EYES TO LATEST VISION CORRECTION OPTIONS

TOMS RIVER, NJ, August 19, 2009 – Community Medical Center  physician Tony Athwal, M.D., will present “Vision Correction, Your Options," geared towards educating participants on the latest advances in vision correction on Wednesday, September 23 at 10 a.m. at Community Medical Center's Community Health Education & Outreach Department, 591 Lakehurst Road in Toms River.

This program will open the eyes of its participants to the latest advances that could eliminate or reduce the need for glasses or contact lenses in the future.  Event participants will receive Solar Shields sunglasses as long as supplies last.

COMMUNITY MEDICAL CENTER PROGRAM TO TELL “WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW” ABOUT CHOLESTEROL & HEART HEALTH

TOMS RIVER, NJ, August 19, 2009 - Community Medical Center physicians Parag Patel, MD, and Rakesh Gupta, MD, will hold a progam addressing “What You Need to Know” about cholesterol and your heart health on September 24 at 2 p.m. at the hospital's Community Health Education & Outreach Department, 591 Lakehurst Road in Toms River.

Keeping your cholesterol in check can help keep your heart healthy.  Participants will get an in depth look at what cholesterol is, what it does, and what steps you can take to better control it. The first 30 people to register for this program will receive a free cholesterol screening beginning at 1 p.m.
