TOMS RIVER, NJ, April 4, 2012 – Community Medical Center, in partnership with The Family Resource Network, will present “Hollywood Babies 2012” a comprehensive baby fair for expectant and new moms, dads and grandparents on Sunday, April 22 from 12:30 to 4 pm at the hospital, 99 Highway 37 West in Toms River.
The Baby Fair will feature a lecture on ‘Having a Healthy Pregnancy’ and celebrate alcohol-free options during pregnancy, including samples of refreshing non-alcoholic drinks. Area organizations will provide information on community services for families and children. The Ocean County Sheriff’s Department and Toms River Police Department will also hold car seat safety checks.
Participants are invited to tour the hospital’s First Moments Maternity Unit and meet with the staff from labor, delivery, postpartum and the nursery. There will be refreshments, door prizes and fun activities for moms, dads and children too, including ‘red carpet’ treatment for all who attend.

Funding for the Baby Fair has been provided by the NJ Coalition for Prevention of Developmental Disabilities/The Arc of NJ and support from the Governor’s Council on the Prevention of Developmental Disabilities.
