Congestive Heart Failure (CHF) is a condition that develops when the heart is unable to provide sufficient blood to the body’s tissues, and is characterized by breathlessness and water retention. The number of CHF patients in our community continues to rapidly increase.
The Congestive Heart Failure Support Group meets on the fourth Wednesday of every month from 1-2 pm at the Lighthouse. The goal of the support group is to give CHF patients the opportunity to share their concerns and frustrations and discuss the challenges they face and ways to overcome obstacles related to heart failure.
Community Medical Center, ranked one of the Top 100 hospitals in the country by Thomson Reuters®, offers a support group for individuals and their loved ones who suffer from CHF.
