West Orange, NJ -- Children and teens often face unique challenges when coping with the loss of a loved one. Although grief is a universal emotion, children experience it very differently from adults. In recognition of this important fact, the Barnabas Health Hospice and Palliative Care Center, an affiliate of the Saint Barnabas Health Care System, has developed two free bereavement programs customized to address the needs of children and teens who are grieving. Each program will be held from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. at the Barnabas Health Hospice and Palliative Care Center, located at 95 Old Short Hills Road in West Orange. Registration is required. Please contact Premajyothi Devi at 973-322-4817 or pdevi@barnabashealth.org.
