Toms River, NJ -- Pictured here, Corporal Jim Merrell (left), Ocean County Corrections Department, presents a check to Suzanne Hart, Director, Van Dyke Hospice and Palliative Care Center Inpatient Unit at Community Medical Center (CMC) and Rick Pallamary, Vice President of Development, CMC Foundation. The donation reflects proceeds raised during Ocean County PBA 258’s 4th Annual Hospice Poker Run held in August in memory of Senior Correction Officer, Barbara Catenacci, Badge 101.
Since the Run’s inception, PBA 258 has donated more than $2,000 to benefit patients and families served by Van Dyke Hospice and Palliative Care Center at CMC, a Barnabas Health facility.
Van Dyke Hospice and Palliative Care Center at Community Medical Center provides Ocean County residents, who are facing advanced illness, medical, spiritual, and emotional support – at home, in the hospital, nursing home, or assisted living residence. The Center also offers Ocean County’s only dedicated inpatient hospice unit. For more information, please visit www.barnabashealthhospice.org or call 732-818-6800.
