Thrift Shops Volunteers Wanted
Kimball Medical Center is looking for volunteers to assist at one of their thrift shops, Kimball Closet located on New South Prospect Road in Jackson. Volunteers are needed immediately on Tuesdays between the hours of 10 to 1 pm and 1 to 4 pm, however volunteers are also welcome for all days, Mondays through Saturdays, and all times. Kimball Closet volunteers are needed to perform a variety of duties, some of which include pricing donated items, helping customers, displaying donated items and keeping the stores neat and presentable. Kimball’s Thrift Shops provide a wide assortment of items including gently used clothing, small appliances, housewares, shoes, art and fine furniture – at a fraction of their original cost. These shops not only provide valuable financial support to Kimball Medical Center, but also fulfill a need in the community for affordable clothing, household items, toys and other goods.
