The Laboratory Services at Kimball Medical Center is devoted
to diagnosis and monitoring of medical conditions through
examination of blood, urine, body fluids and tissues. Certified
by Joint Commission for Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations,
College of American Pathologists and the American Association
of Blood Banks, the Laboratory is committed to quality testing
and high performance standards. Services are networked with
reference laboratories in order to provide a full range of
laboratory testing with a physician prescription. Staffed
with Nationally Certified professionals utilizing state-of-the-art
instrumentation, inpatient and outpatient services are provided
24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Regular Outpatient hours are 6:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., Monday
through Friday and 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., Saturday and Sunday.
During off-hours, patients can register in the ER Triage
area and the lab will be called to provide specimen collection.
For added convenience, a laboratory drawing station is available
at the Nexus Building located at 500 River Ave. Lakewood,
NJ (Suite 100). Hours of operation are Monday through Friday
from 7:30am to 1:30 pm. An additional site has been opened at 101 Prospect St. (Suite 118) Monday through Friday from 7:30am to 12noon. No appointment is needed at these locations but can be made by calling the Link at 1-888-724-7123.
Kimball Medical Center also offers blood draw stations at
selected senior communities. For more information on this
