The Mother-Infant Pavilion at Kimball Medical Center's six
Labor-Delivery Recovery (LDR) rooms combine the latest technology
with a soothing home-like decor. Some of the rooms are equipped
with Jacuzzis. Our facilities also include a fully-equipped
Operating Suite for Cesarean births, 24-hour anesthesiology
and in-house neonatology.
There are 20 rooms dedicated to Postpartum recovery, 24
Nursery beds and 5 beds in the Special Care Nursery.
The newly renovated unit also includes private showers for
most rooms, with special services and amenities abundant,
including a private Stork Dinner for new parents. There is
a kosher closet where reading material and food supplies
are kept, and a family lounge.
Tours of the Mother-Infant Pavilion take place on the second
Thursday of every month at 5:30 p.m. No registration is required.
