Kimball Medical Center Foundation Fine Art Auction
A Picturesque Success

Lakewood, NJ --- Kimball Medical Center Foundation hosted an exclusive Art Auction on September 4, 2008 at the Eagle Ridge Country Club in Lakewood which showcased select pieces of fine framed art, sports memorabilia and other wall décor.

Beautifully framed and matted prints, original lithographs, hand-signed and numbered limited edition serigraphs, etchings, original oil works and other items were up for bid at a minimum cost of $45 framed.

Over 20 pieces of fine artwork from well known artists including Neiman, Tarkay, Alexander & Wissotsky, Chagall, Miro, Sculthorpe, Wyeth, Rockwell, Orlando, Dali, Shvaiko, Duvall, Behrens, Boulanger, and Wooster-Scott were sold during the auction. Art Auction attendees were treated to wine and cheese during the event, which was arranged and coordinated by New York Wall To Do Gallery.

“The live art auction was a great fundraising event for Kimball,” said Caryl Russo, Vice President of the Kimball Medical Center Foundation.  “The pieces of artwork were beautiful and the event was exciting for everyone because it was a live auction.”

The Kimball Medical Center Foundation was created to support Kimball Medical Center and the programs and services it provides. The foundation’s accomplishments are funded through events like the Art Auction and the Kimball Golf Classic, as well as contributions from individuals, corporations, and other donors for state of the art equipment, facility improvement and programs. The foundation enjoys the support of thousands of friends, especially the members of the Kimball Medical Center Auxiliary Association, whom not only raise funds for the hospital, but also serve as “ambassadors” in the community.
