LAKEWOOD, NJ -- Small businesses and corporations
can now sign-up with Kimball Medical Center’s Corporate
Care program to administer seasonal flu shots to their employees
at a low rate.
Employers should provide seasonal flu vaccination as a means
of protecting their staff and minimizing sick days. Corporate
Care only offers flu shots to the staff of employers that
contact Corporate Care to coordinate vaccination and is not
open to the general public.
Seasonal flu shots are being provided on-site at Corporate
Care located at 500 River Avenue in Lakewood between the
hours of 8 am and 4:15 pm.
Flu shots can be administered offsite to larger groups of
employees at the company’s worksite. Currently
over 400 local businesses utilize the Corporate Care Program
at Kimball Medical Center to provide well-care education,
physicals and worker’s injury and compensation care
for their employees.
The Corporate Care Program at Kimball Medical Center provides
well-care services and education, physicals and worker’s
injury and compensation care for contracted company employees. Corporate
Care works with each company to provide specific services
to meet their individual needs. Corporate
Care provides physicals and a number of health screenings
including diabetes, bone density, blood pressure, prostate,
colon skin and oral cancer. Drug and alcohol testing,
inoculations, and vaccinations can be provided.
The Corporate Care program is overseen by a highly-qualified
medical director, Tanisha K. Taylor, MD, MPH. Dr. Taylor
is board-certified in both occupational and environmental
medicine, and internal medicine. Dr. Taylor oversees
the Corporate Care program, and participates and manages
both well care and workers’ compensation injury care.
Dr.
Taylor works on-site with physical and occupational therapists
to continually monitor patient’s progress
and make modifications to treatment and care plans as necessary
to ensure optimal outcomes.
