President and CEO of NJ Hospital Association Visits Kimball

LAKEWOOD, NJ, JUNE 5, 2009 - Elizabeth Ryan, Esq., president and CEO of the New Jersey Hospital Association, recently visited Kimball Medical Center in Lakewood where she met with community leaders, legislators and employees to discuss important issues facing hospitals in the state of New Jersey today. Ryan spoke candidly about critical topics such as cuts to charity care and underfunding of Medicare and Medicaid. She offered her thanks and appreciation to Kimball Medical Center employees for consistently providing high quality care to their patients, 24 hours a day, seven days a week, even during these challenging times. “I know when I am home sleeping, you are still here caring for patients,” Ryan said. “You should be very proud of the important work you do.”
