TOMS RIVER, NJ – Imagine kids eating their
vegetables without whining and pouting at the dinner table.
Or having teenagers dust mop the hardwood floors in their
slippers while dancing to music and burning some calories?
Sounds too good to be true, but it isn’t.
On Wednesday, January 20, the public is invited to attend
a free program presented by the Saint Barnabas Health Care
System called The Sneaky Chef & Sneaky Fitness: Foolproof
Ways to Sneak Healthy Foods and Healthy Lifestyles into Your
Home. The event will be held at the Crystal Point Yacht Club
on River Road in Point Pleasant beginning at 6 p.m.
The Sneaky Chef is the brainchild of Missy Chase Lapine,
whose New York Times bestseller, The Sneaky Chef:
Simple Strategies for Hiding Healthy Foods in Kids’ Favorite
Meals, inspired a whole new brand in the healthy eating/lifestyles
category. Recently, Lapine co-authored a new book with celebrity
fitness trainer Laryssa DiDio called Sneaky Fitness: Fun,
Foolproof Ways to Slip Fitness into Your Child’s Everyday
Life.
Both Lapine and DiDio will entertain the audience at this
program with a fun-filled interactive presentation. Lapine
and Didio will demonstrate actual Sneaky Fitness Activities
and famous Sneaky Chef foods that will energize participants
to return home with life changing knowledge to benefit families
for a lifetime.
Dianne DeOliveira, The Breeze Radio morning show host, will
be the emcee for the program, which is presented in partnership
with Friends Health Connection. Health education displays,
door prizes and a free dinner will be provided to all participants,
though the program is for adults only. Both Lapine and DiDio
will be available after the program for a book signing.
Pre-registration is required to attend by calling 1-888-724-7123.
Seating is limited. Admission tickets will mailed to those
who pre-register and are required for entrance into the program.
