TOMS RIVER, NJ – Community and Kimball Medical Centers, Barnabas Health facilities, will present “Get Your Red On,” a heart event for women, on Thursday, February 23. The free event will be held at the Crystal Point Yacht Club, Route 70 and River Road in Point Pleasant, from 5:30 – 8 p.m.
At the event, Community and Kimball physicians Samir Jain, MD, cardiologist and Jay Stone, MD, Medical Director of Interventional Cardiology, will present an educational lecture on heart disease prevention, detection and treatment.
All guests can participate in a Laughter Yoga demonstration, designed to teach the health benefits of reducing stress. Free screenings of blood pressure, glucose and cholesterol will be available.
Drawings for great prizes including Broadway tickets, restaurant gift certificates, and more will be offered. Food, refreshments and free giveaways will also be provided.
