Outpatient services provided in a private office setting are
offered at Monmouth Health Center’s location on the hospital
main campus. Care is delivered by obstetricians/gynecologists
who are members of Monmouth’s medical staff, as well
as nurse mid-wives and resident physicians in the obstetrics
and gynecology program.
 The scope of prenatal care includes pregnancy testing, case
management, childbirth preparation, parenting classes, information
on cord blood banking options,
and postpartum care.
Other women’s health care services include gynecological
care, pap smears, birth control counseling and breast health
screenings.
The center accepts most major insurance plans, including Medicaid
managed care and traditional insurance. It also is a NJ KidCare
and HealthStart provider.
