Some of the most advanced
surgical procedures have been performed here, including temporomandibular
joint arthroscopy, orthognathic surgery as well as comprehensive
dentistry under general anesthesia for pediatric and special
needs patients.
The Members of the dental staff are trained in a variety of specialties
including endodontics, orthodontics, prosthodontics, and cosmetic,
geriatric, pediatric, and restorative dentistry. Monmouth is one
of the States largest community teaching hospitals. The dentists
on our Dental Staff are members of a highly regarded teaching faculty
that teach all aspects of academic and clinical dentistry to five dental
residents annually.
The Department sponsors a continuing education program that consists
of four full day seminars annually presented by nationally renowned
