Margie joined the Wilentz Center of 2010. She brings 10 years of experience in women’s imaging, including becoming a Certified Breast Health Navigator in 2004. Margie has been an RN since 1994, graduating at the top of her class from the Muhlenberg School of Nursing and was awarded the Board of Governors Award for proficiency in both theory and practice. Margie worked in cardiac critical care and interventional radiology and was a certified critical care nurse (CCRN) prior to becoming a Breast Care Coordinator and Director of Breast Health Navigation and Volunteer Services. In her current role as Clinical Director, Margie brings her expertise in breast health management with a focus on quality patient care and a true passion of caring for patients facing breast cancer.
She serves on the State of New Jersey Department of Health and Senior Services, Office of Cancer Control and Prevention, Breast Cancer Work Group. She was an Executive Board Member of The Women’s Fund of New Jersey from 2007-2008 and was a finalist for the NJ BIZ Nurse of the Year Award in 2009 for her diverse work with breast cancer patients and volunteer programming. Margie is currently attending graduate school at Monmouth University toward her master's degree with a concentration on nursing education.
