Long Branch, New Jersey – The Children’s Hospital at Monmouth Medical Center recently received a donation from the Wave of Hope Foundation, a non-profit foundation dedicated to helping those in need.
Each year, Wave of Hope hosts a carnival in June. The carnival is a collaborative effort among the teachers from Long Branch to raise funds for children in need. Wave of Hope decided this year to support local organizations and chose The Children’s Hospital to be the recipient of the funds.
“We are delighted to have been chosen by the Wave of Hope Foundation,” says Meg Fisher, MD, Medical Director of The Children’s Hospital. “It is a wonderful effort on the part of the teachers and students here in Long Branch. We are honored to receive this gift and will use the monies to help the children we see here at The Children’s Hospital.”
