To provide quality care and privacy to our patients and to foster
a healing environment, we ask that you observe visiting hours as
outlined below. Children 12 years and older may visit patients.
Visitors
must check in at the Main Information Desk at each visit.
General
11:00 a.m. – 8:30 p.m
Intensive Care Units
11:00 a.m. – 6:30 p.m.
8:30 p.m. – 9:30 p.m.
Stanley 3
11 a.m. – 8:30 p.m.
Pediatrics
Parents: 24 hours
General visiting: 11 a.m. – 8:30 p.m.
Pediatric Intensive Care Unit
Parents: 24 hours
General visiting: 11 a.m. – 8:30 p.m.
Visiting hours may be suspended at any time due to changes in patient
care needs.
Mother/Baby
White Banded individuals: 24 hours
Grandparents: 10 a.m. – 8:30 p.m.
General visiting: 12:00 p.m. – 8:30 p.m. &
Saturday 10 a.m. – 8:30 p.m.
No children under 12 may visit Mother/Baby unless they are siblings
of the newborn.
Regional Newborn Center
Parents: 24 hours
Siblings and Grandparents check with unit for special consideration.
General visiting: 2:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. and
8:00 p.m. – 11:00 p.m.
Alexander Pavilion
AP1 & AP3: 6:30 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.
AP2 (CCIS): Monday – Friday 6:00 p.m. – 7:30 p.m.
Weekends 1:30 p.m. – 3:30 p.m.
Hospice
24 hours
Specialty Hospital (Long Term Care)
11:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m.
Pet Visitation
Pets may be allowed to visit in special circumstances and under
certain conditions. Please call the Patient Satisfaction Department
at ext. 36695 for more information.
Calls to the Nurse’s Station
Calls are welcome anytime except 6:00 a.m. – 10:00 a.m.
and 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.
A Special Note for Family and Friends
For the comfort of our patients, we ask that our visitors observe
the following:
- Please limit the number of visitors at the bedside
to two and be considerate about the length of your visit.
- Whenever
possible, ask the nursing staff if there are specific times when
your presence would be beneficial to the patient’s comfort
or your peace of mind.
- Please do
not adjust any siderails, cribrails or equipment that may be
in use without consulting the nurse.
- If your loved one
is receiving patient controlled analgesia for pain, please do
not push the button to administer additional doses of medication.
Although you may mean well, this well-intentioned effort can
result in serious medical problems for the patient.
- Assist us in
creating a quiet, soothing and healing environment.
- Adhere to the policy regarding visiting hours for medical/surgical
patients, Maternity and ICU/CCU.
- Visitors who are
visibly ill (i.e. sneezing, coughing, etc.) should refrain from
visiting.
- Shoes and shirts must be worn
at all times in the hospital.
- Please check with the nurse regarding dietary restrictions
before offering any food/beverage to a patient.
- You may be asked to leave the room during a physician visit
or treatment. This is to respect the privacy of our patients.
Thank you for your cooperation in meeting
the needs of our patients so that we are able to provide the best
possible experience during their stay.
Parking
There is a fee for general parking. Please bring your parking ticket
with you. Payment for parking is made through the ticket machines
located next to the main lobby.
