Monmouth Medical Center Seeks Donations and Volunteers For New Thrift Shop

Eatontown, NJ, May 5, 2008  —Monmouth Medical Center Foundation’s new thrift shop — Once Again Thrift Boutique — is seeking clothing and household donations, as well as volunteers to staff the shop.

“We are reaching out to the communities we serve to tell residents that their donations are greatly appreciated and go to a good cause,” says Tiffany Cioffi, manager of retail operations for the foundation, who explains that the revenue will be used to support programs and services at the Monmouth Medical Center. “Community members also can show their support for the shop by volunteering to staff the thrift boutique.”

The thrift boutique, opening in early June, is located at 152 Main Street in Eatontown, and will be open Monday through Friday from 10 am. to 5 p.m., with Thursday evening hours to 8 p.m., and Saturday hours from 10 a.m .to 4 p.m.  Specializing in high-end clothing for men, women and children, the thrift boutique also will feature jewelry, toys, books and small furniture as well as other home décor and accessories and books.

“We really value the support of community members who donate their items to our thrift boutique,” says Cioffi, who notes that donated items are tax deductible. “And we appreciate the dedication and commitment of volunteers who give freely of their time to help us ensure that Monmouth Medical Center remains the region’s premiere health care facility.”
