HOWELL, NJ, October 3, 2011 — On Thursday, October 13 from 4 to 6 pm, the Jacqueline M. Wilentz Breast Center in Howell will hold a public Open House in honor of National Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
In June of this year, Monmouth Medical Center joined its sister hospital, Kimball Medical Center, to open Jacqueline M. Wilentz Breast Center at Howell, located at 59 Kent Road, to bring mammography services to Howell and the surrounding communities.
During the Open House, members of the public are welcome to stop in to the breast center to walk through the center, meet the staff, and learn more about what they can do to protect themselves from breast cancer. In addition, appointments can be made to have a screening or diagnostic mammogram at the Howell center. Fresh apple cider, compliments of Delicious Orchards in Colts Neck, light fare and giveaways will be provided to all in attendance.
Walk-in appointments for screening mammograms are available on the day of the Open House and every day at Howell.
