Medical Office Opens in Tinton Falls
Monmouth Medical Group Physicians Open Additional Office 

 LONG BRANCH, NJ, August 23, 2011 - Monmouth Medical Group, an affiliate of Monmouth Medical Center and Barnabas Health, has recently opened an additional physician office in Tinton Falls, located at 1029 Sycamore Avenue.  Monmouth Medical Group internists Sunit Desai, MD; Russell Gross, MD; Kenneth Granet, MD, FACP; and Pranathi Mandadi, MD, are now seeing patients in this office, in addition to seeing patients in their primary offices. 

Drs. Desai and Gross will continue to see new and existing patients at their primary office located at 1270 Highway 35 South in Middletown, and Drs. Granet and Mandadi will continue to see new and existing patients at their primary office located 166 Morris Avenue in Long Branch.

The Monmouth Medical Group Tinton Falls office will be open Mondays through Thursdays from 10 am until 4 pm.  Appointments at this new address can be made by calling 732.544.1048.

Sunit Desai, MD, is board-certified in Internal Medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine. He earned his Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery degree from South Gujarat University in Surat, India.  Dr. Desai completed his residency program at Prince George’s Hospital Center in Maryland and completed his training at Monmouth Medical Center.  He is a member of the American Society of Bariatric Physicians, the American College of Physicians and the American Heart Association.

Kenneth Granet, MD, FACP, is board-certified in Internal Medicine and is a fellow of the American College of Physicians. He earned his medical degree at Downstate Medical Center and trained in internal medicine at Cornell Cooperating Hospitals, Northshore University Hospital, Manhasset and Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York.  Dr. Granet is an assistant program director in the Department of Medicine at Monmouth Medical Center. He is Chairman of the Ethics Committee and serves as the Section Chief of Medicine.  Dr. Granet is actively involved with the teaching program at Monmouth Medical Center and is the recipient of the Dean’s Special Award of Excellence in Clinical Teaching from Drexel University College of Medicine in Philadelphia, Monmouth’s teaching affiliate.

Russell Gross, MD, is board-certified in Internal Medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine. He earned his medical degree from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey (UMDNJ), New Jersey Medical School, where he completed his training and residency. His professional accomplishments include Clinical Assistant Professor of Medicine at UMDNJ.

Pranathi Mandadi, MD, received her Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery degree from Gandhi Medical College in Hyderabad, India. She completed her residency at Monmouth Medical Center where she was recognized with the Best Performance During Residency Award.  She is a member of the American College of Physicians and the American Medical Association.
