LONG BRANCH, NJ – The 2011 Two Rivers Antiques and Art Show will return to the Rumson Country Day School from October 14-16 to benefit the Jacqueline M. Wilentz Comprehensive Breast Center at Monmouth Medical Center.
The event, which began in 1998, helps the Wilentz Center purchase state-of-the-art equipment to better serve patients. The Jacqueline M. Wilentz Comprehensive Breast Center was recently designated a Certified Quality Breast Center of Excellence - the highest certification level offered by the National Quality Measures for Breast Centers (NQMBC). The Wilentz
Center is one of just two New Jersey facilities and is among just 18 in the nation to achieve
this top national certification.
The fundraiser will feature new and exciting contemporary art and antiques and a surge of new art dealers supporting the cause, including art dealer and consultant Island Weiss, who will share his pieces from painter Ettore de Conciliis and sculptor Elizabeth Strong-Cuevas for the first time in Monmouth County.
This year’s show, honoring the legacy of Judy Stanley Coleman, Lois Levy and Susan Mercy, will begin with a preview party featuring cocktails, light fare and an auction on Friday, October 14 from 6:30 p.m. - 9:30 p.m. The antiques and art show will continue on Saturday, October 15 from 10 a.m. - 6 p.m. and Sunday, October 16 from 11:30 a.m. - 5 p.m.
