Long Branch, NJ – Monmouth Medical Center has once again joined with the city of Long Branch and a number of corporate sponsors to present the 22nd Annual Oceanfest celebration.

The annual Fourth of July event coordinated by the Greater Long Branch Chamber of Commerce and the city drew thousands of visitors to the Long Branch boardwalk for a day-long event packed with live music and entertainment, sand sculpting exhibitions, food and arts and crafts vendors and one of the area's biggest fireworks displays.

"Monmouth Medical Center's ongoing commitment to the Oceanfest celebration is a testament to the partnership this hospital feels with the surrounding community," said Frank J. Vozos, M.D., FACS, president and chief executive officer of Monmouth Medical Center.

Monmouth Medical Center, a Barnabas Health facility, has been a major sponsor of Oceanfest since its inception 22 years ago. Additionally, Monmouth Medical Center, with the support of the Philippine Nurses Association of New Jersey, members of Sigma Teta Tau International sorority, Lambda Delta Chapter, provided free blood pressure screenings at the event.
