LONG BRANCH, NJ, September 4, 2012 – The Two Rivers Antiques and Art Show, a two-day event featuring 25 renowned antiques and contemporary and traditional art dealers, will be held at the Ranney School located at 235 Hope Road in Tinton Falls on Saturday and Sunday, September 29 and 30, with a Preview Party to be held on Friday evening, September 28, for those requiring a first look. The Two Rivers Antiques and Art Show is considered to be the finest antiques and art show by dealers, collectors, designers and architects in New Jersey.
“The Two Rivers Antiques and Art Show features fine period antiques, both formal and primitive, folk art, American flags, contemporary and traditional paintings, sculpture, works on paper, antique maps, documents, posters and estate jewelry. This show features pieces that can be seamlessly integrated into a contemporary lifestyle,” said Barbara Goldfarb, Antiques and Art Show co-chair.
“Whether you are a first time buyer or an avid experienced collector, you will be delighted by the extensive spectrum of fabulous and affordable pieces available,” added Kara Short, Antiques and Art Show co-chair.
Proceeds from the event will be used to purchase the recently FDA-approved 3D Tomosynthesis Mammography Scanner for the Jacqueline M. Wilentz Comprehensive Breast Center at Monmouth Medical Center. To date, the show has raised over three million dollars for the Center.
The Two Rivers Antiques and Art Show is recognized as the finest antiques show in New Jersey. A wide variety of well-known dealers such as Fletcher-Copenhaver, Jeff Bridgman, A Bird in Hand, Saje Americana, Island Weiss Gallery, The Philadelphia Print Shop, C. Edwin Puckett, Brad Reh, Nula Thanhauser, Whitehall Antiques and Charles Washburne Antiques, among many others, will be on hand.
Hours for the Antiques and Art Show are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday, September 29, and 11:30 to 5 p.m. on Sunday, September 30. A vineyard tour of Four JG's Orchards and Vineyards in Colts Neck will take place on Saturday from noon to 4:30 p.m., with shuttle service available to and from the show.
The Preview Party will take place on Friday, September 28 from 7 to 10 p.m. Tickets for the Preview Party cost $145 in advance and $165 at the door and tickets for the show are $12 if purchased in advance, and $15 if purchased at the door.
