Dear Family and Friends,
On Saturday, October 15, I am going to participate in the
walk. I will commit to
walking on behalf of the heart failure, treatment and transplant
program at Newark Beth Israel Medical Center. I am asking my family
and friends to help me raise money for this great cause by making
a pledge in my name. It’s easy to do:
- Make your check payable to and mail directly to
- Give me the check (payable to NBIMC Foundation) and I’ll
bring it with me the day of the event; so I’ll get the credit.
This event raises money to support heart failure and transplant patients at Newark Beth Israel Medical Center. Patients come from all around the state of New
Jersey because The heart transplant program remains among
the most active in the country ranking ninth in the nation by volume,
with short and long-term survival rates that consistently exceed
national benchmarks. Newark Beth Israel Medical Center was also
named among the top 50 hospitals for specialty care in Heart and
Heart Surgery by U.S. News Media Group’s 2009-10 America’s
Best Hospitals. By the end of 2011, NBIMC doctors will have performed
more than 650 transplant surgeries.
I hope you can help me your pledge of a gift.
All donations
are tax-deductible.
