Children’s Hospital of New Jersey at Newark Beth Israel Medical Center has the busiest outpatient center for children with cancer and blood disorders in the state. Undergoing treatment for cancer and blood disorders, such as hemophilia or sickle cell anemia can be emotionally stressful for both children and their families. Most children require multiple treatments for a long period of time. A soothing and comfortable environment eases their stress and improves treatment outcomes.
