NJIT Telecast at Newark Beth Israel Medical Center

What:         Live robotic surgical procedure video-teleconferenced from the Operating Room of NBIMC

Who:          Medibotics Program at NJIT will view a robotic surgical procedure performed by Michael Pitter, MD, Chief of Gynecological Robotic and Minimally Invasive Surgery

When:         Wednesday, July 23, 2008, 9:30am – 12:30pm

There will be approximately 48 7th graders from the “Medibotics” summer program at NJIT. This program merges medicine and robotics. They will be given the opportunity to ask questions to Dr Pitter during the procedure, and Test Drive the Robot after the operation.
