Newark, N.J. – Newark Beth Israel Medical Center and Children’s Hospital of New Jersey will hold a free health fair with screenings, education and fun activities for all on Saturday, September 27, from noon to 4 p.m. The fair will be held on the hospital campus at 201 Lyons Avenue.
People of all ages are invited to attend the fair, which will include screening for diabetes, blood pressure, BMI, HIV and more. Children’s Hospital of New Jersey will offer special screenings for children and educational materials for parents. There will also be food and entertainment, as well as activities for the kids. Door prizes and gifts will also be given out throughout the day. Pre-registration is not required to attend the health fair.
