New Jersey Monthly Names 20 Top Doctors for 2009 from Newark Beth Israel Medical Center and Children’s Hospital of New Jersey

Newark, NJ - New Jersey Monthly magazine recently named 20 physicians practicing medicine at Newark Beth Israel Medical Center and Children’s Hospital of New Jersey among the best in the state in its annual "Top Doctors in New Jersey" issue. The physicians, who provide a wide range of specialties, were selected from more than 33,000 doctors in New Jersey.

“It is because of our commitment to patients, dedication to excellence and continued understanding of the need for an environment of caring and collaboration that Newark Beth and Children’s Hospital are continuously recognized for improving treatment outcomes, furthering clinical excellence and offering superior and innovative care,” says John A. Brennan, MD, Executive Director. “Being named as a “Top Doc” is very special, in that peers have recognized the physician’s professional expertise.”

For this year’s list of Top Doctors, New Jersey Monthly commissioned an independent survey by the Polling Institute at Monmouth University in West Long Branch.
