NEWARK, NJ—Join Newark Beth Israel Medical Center (NBIMC) for its first Women’s Health Day Saturday, May 19 from 8 am to 2 pm at the Center for Women’s Health, 201 Lyons Avenue. The program will feature speakers, educational panels, screenings and wellness information.
John A. Brennan, MD, MPH, President and Chief Executive Officer of Newark Beth Israel Medical Center (NBIMC) and Children’s Hospital of New Jersey (CHoNJ) said, “Women play an important role in our community and we want to ensure that they have the proper healthcare options. The Women’s Health Day will provide them with the opportunity to take advantage of healthcare screenings that are not always readily available or affordable.”
Throughout the day participants will be offered Women’s Health Screenings and breast, vascular and lung assessments. The program also will include panel discussions from physicians from The Beth.
