Toms River, NJ, July 21, 2010 --- Arnold Williams, MD, recently joined the clinical staff at the Barnabas Health Behavioral Health Center as a new staff Psychiatrist for the Short Term Care Unit.
As a staff psychiatrist, Dr. Williams directs his treatment team including advanced practice nurses, licensed clinical social workers, mental health professionals, and licensed drug and alcohol counselors for meetings and treatment planning for each of the patients. He is also responsible for patient diagnosing, daily rounding, charting progress, and meeting the individualized needs of each of his patients from admission up to and including discharge.
"Dr. Williams is a young, energetic and knowledgeable professional who complements our medical staff here at Behavioral Health," said Joe Hicks, Executive Director of the Barnabas Health Behavioral Health Center.
Dr. Williams earned his undergraduate degree from Rutgers University. He earned his medical degree from UMDNJ – New Jersey Medical School and also completed his residency in Psychiatry there.
