The Healthy LIFE Super Seminar provides our overweight patients at the Saint Barnabas Pediatric Specialty Center with a foundation of knowledge and skills that we build on with individualized behavioral coaching or the comprehensive Healthy LIFE program.

The individualized behavioral coaching involves personalized visits where each participant will see Debra Gill, Ph.D., our weight management expert. Participants will develop personal strategies for weight management, set specific and achievable goals, have accountability, receive regular checks of weight, and body composition, practice planning and problem-solving, and receive positive feedback for accomplishments.

Individual coaching can be paid for privately ($49 each 15 minutes), or with your normal endocrine co-pay if it is combined with a brief visit with pediatric endocrinologist.  The Healthy LIFE program runs for about 6 months. People who join Healthy LIFE receive $100 credit so that the Super Seminar becomes free of charge.
